The way to the beach

Its really not far, only a few minutes...and that was my last trip to the beach this year.

This is a place I like to sit after a long walk on the beach.

I have a perfect view of the sunset and can just meditate and listen to the waves.

The house in the background don't seem to be in use .

After my trip to the temple...

I just managed to get to the beach in time to enjoy the sunset, as I do every day at 6pm.

A trip to the local temple

This trip involved walking, then a ride with a local version of the tuktuk which is really a motorbike with a large sidecar that can seat 4 people. On the way back I travelled with an open air bus. With people from Sweden, Denmark and Japan.

Some of the temples are replicates build in modern time and I am not sure if this is one of them. Its beautiful anyway and serves the purpose for the faithful buddhists.

Colourful breakfast

I am trying to liver really healthy here and my diet contains lots of fruit. My breakfast today is this bowl of orange, papaya, pineapple and water melon. Yummy !

In Thailand they call it a condo.  Its a modern minimalistic flat with lots of space.

Wat Arun

I visited Wat Arun on my last day in Bangkok. I ones again travelled by boat to reach my destination and it was refreshing on a very hot and humid day. Wat Arun is a bit different from the other temples but just a beautiful. More information about this amazing piece of architecture

Wat Traimit and the Golden Buddha

So many temples and so little time...This one was one I wouldn't miss though.  The Buddha is of pure gold and it is amazing! Unfortunately I didn't get the best photo as the temple was packed with tourists all trying to take selfies in front of the Buddha.

Chatuchak weekend market

I am not really a big fan of crowded markets but thought I should at least have a look.
It was not that far from my flat, only a few stops with the underground. It was huge and crowed and hot so I didn't spend more than an hour and didn't buy anything but got some impressions for there blog.
