Nearly ready

I have been to the Thai Consulate to get a 3 months tourist Visa.
It required 2 trips into West Kensington, first to apply and leave my passport there and then the next day to pick up my passport with the Visa.
The Consulate was packed with sun hungry people eager to get away from cold and gloomy December. I am not staying 3 months but a 3 months Visa was the only option.
I have bought a travel insurance which will cover illness, accidents and theft. Now to packing...
I gathering my light summer clothes, whatever I have of sun screen left over from the summer, sandals, a very smart straw hat and whatever else I need for my trip to the sun. It will all be neatly packed in my brown suitcase. only two more nights here in cold and dark England...
